Ahead of PlayStation TV's arrival in the United States on October 14, Sony has published a video that aims to get you up to speed with everything the device has to offer. You can watch it above.
Sony announced in late September that almost 700 games will be available for PS TV at launch. The $100 microconsole can play many PlayStation Vita games in addition to digital PlayStation One and PSP games. Through Remote Play, PS TV can be used to stream PlayStation 4 games from one PS4 console in your home onto a separate television that the PS TV is connected to.
And when Sony's streaming game service, PlayStation Now, comes to PS TV, users will be able to stream PlayStation 3 titles to the device. PS Now just recently entered open beta on PS3, but Sony has not announced when support is coming for PS TV.
When PS TV launches this month, you can buy the system itself for $100. Premium bundles that include a DualShock 3 controller, memory card, and your choice of The Lego Movie Video Game or Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will also be available for $140.
