Tearaway released exclusively for Vita in October

Tearaway, the PlayStation Vita exclusive from LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule, will be released this October.

North America will get the papercraft platformer on October 22, with a European release three days later on April 25. Tearaway will be available both physically and digitally on launch day.

The physical edition will also feature reversible box art, allowing players to adorn the box with either Iota or Atoi, the game's protagonists.

Tearaway, which was unveiled at Sony's 2012 Gamescom conference, is the latest project from the LittleBigPlanet developers and aims to make use of numerous Vita features, including the camera and rear-touch panel.

Media Molecule also unveiled its next experimental project for the PlayStation 4 during the console's February unveiling.
